Jason Wiks
Principal
Jason Wiks has many years of teaching and educational leadership experience in many different types of schools in Alberta. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support the diverse needs of our students, teachers, teacher leaders and our communities. Jason is married and is the proud father of two daughters, both of whom will be studying at university in the fall.
He holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Master's Degree in Distance Education from Athabasca University. Jason brings a strong educational foundation to his role as Principal. He has also pursued continuous professional development throughout his career, obtaining certifications in areas such as Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments (SIVA) Training, Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) Certification, Violent Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) Training, Cognitive Coaching, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and educational leadership.
Jason believes that successful schools are built on positive relationships between students, staff, parents and the communities that we serve.
